Dyson’s air multiplier fans work by drawing air into the base and accelerating it up into the loop, which directs the air forward. As this fan lacks the spinning blades of a traditional fan, not only is it safer for homes with pets or small children, but its airflow is smoother and more consistent, with no choppy buffeting.
Using the controls at the base, you can switch between cooling and warming modes, including precisely setting the temperature and the fan speed. You can also manage these settings using this remote control, which is magnetised so it can be handily stored with the unit.
The fan can be set to rotate up to 80 degrees, so you can spread cool or warm air can be evenly distributed throughout your room. You can also gently tilt the fan to direct the airflow on different angles. Don’t worry about unbalancing the appliance – the fan has been designed to automatically switch itself off if it accidentally falls over.
